Complementary Therapies for Adults with Learning Disabilities

DGM Aromatics has worked, and currently works, with clients who possess a wide spectrum of Learning Disabilities, from challenging behaviour, Autism and Aspberger's Syndrome to those with the most profound disabilities requiring total support. In all cases we have been privileged to see some amazing reactions to our services from the Services Users and Support Staff alike.

The main aims for the sessions are :-

•  To provide positive touch

•  One to one interaction

•  Creating a multi-sensory environment

•  Stimulation and relaxation

•  Treatments designed for the Service User's individual needs

The sessions can be for 1 hour, 30 minutes or 15 minutes weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending upon the requirements of the Service User. In all cases we interact with the Service User to provide a massage using an appropriate blend of base oil and 100% Pure Essential Oils. All of the oils are blended by us and are of the highest quality.  Massages can take place in a communal room or in the Service Users own room and can vary from hand and foot massages to full body.

All of our therapists are fully qualified and insured and have been CRB checked to an enhanced level.
